Our annual Stuff the Bus is going to be our biggest yet! Again, several community groups have come together to provide more students with more stuff.
We will be offering backpacks with many of the school supplies needed to make going back to school a little easier. We will also have available new shoes (CHILD MUST BE PRESENT), haircuts, as well as information on local and school services.
Below is a list of dates and times you need to know, both to give to Stuff the Bus, and to receive if you need it. If your organization would like to help us spread the word about Stuff the Bus, there are also promotional resources and ideas on this page as well.
Collection Dates & Locations
We would like to thank Walmart of Morehead City, Staples of Morehead City, and Safrit’s Building Supply of Beaufort for allowing us to use their locations as collection sites this year. Volunteers are needed to help collect supplies and hand out cards of the items needed at these locations.
Safrit’s Building Supply COLLECTION DATES/TIMES:
6:30am to 4:30pm, Thursday, July 18 through Friday, August 2
Walmart & Staples COLLECTION DATES/TIMES:
Friday, August 2 – 9:00am to 6:00pm
Saturday, August 3 – 9:00am to 6:00pm
Sunday, August 4 – 1:00pm to 6:00pm
Sorting Date
Volunteers are needed to help sort the donated items at Parkview Baptist Church.
Monday, August 5th – 8:00am until finished
Distribution
This year there are two distribution dates. One will be at a central location, then a second date with four locations to better serve you.
Main Distribution
Wednesday, August 7th – 8:00am to 11:00am at Parkview Baptist Church GET DIRECTIONS
Secondary Distribution
Sunday, August 11th – 4:00pm to 5:00pm at the schools listed below
